Dean Kinney

Dean Kinney is the President/CEO of The HomeSlice Group, a media and entertainment conglomerate operating mostly in the Black Hills. These include HomeSlice Media, HomeSlice Artist Management, HomeSlice Creative, Rapid Digital Solutions, and The Loud American Roadhouse, among others. The firm owns and operates six radio stations in the Rapid City area, as well as a full service ad agency. Mr. Kinney’s companies employ more than 90 full and part-time people year round, and nearly 250 people at peak summer season. Dean is the past-president of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and a former board member of Sturgis Rally Charities. He currently serves on the Greater Sturgis Area Foundation and as Chairperson of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Inc. Dean was born and raised in Sturgis and built his life and businesses in the Black Hills.

Scott Reiman

Scott currently serves as the SEDC Treasurer and is on the Executive, Legal & Finance, and Personnel committees. He is President at First Interstate Bank, Sturgis and enjoys the relationships created over the years with the people of Sturgis and the surrounding area. Scott previously served as President, VP, and Treasurer for the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and helped create the Northern Hills Junior Achievement Program in 2006. Scott and his wife have 3 children, and 1 grandson all living in the Black Hills.

Councilman Rod Bradley

Rod Bradley has multiple business interests in Sturgis including the Oasis Bar and Fireside Lounge in downtown Sturgis. Rod is also a partner in a resort property in Sedona, AZ. Rod served as the Vice President of the Downtown Sturgis Foundation and Business Improvement District (BID) Board of Directors for two years until being elected to the Sturgis City Council in 2015. Rod grew up in Sturgis and is currently raising two young children (Mya and JJ) in Sturgis with his wife Cassie.

Jerry Berkowitz

Jerry Berkowitz is the President of Good Sports Inc., the primary licensee of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Inc. Good Sports is a 30 year old company specializing in original motorcycle apparel, based in Manchester, CT. Our whole team (over 100 strong) works together to keep both wheels turning for all of our customers. I am proud to be a vendor at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally since the mid 80's and have had a store on Main Street since 2005.

Ross Lamphere

Ross is a lifelong resident of the Sturgis area. He has been active in the Sturgis community serving in many capacities at his church, having served as president of the local School Board, Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the National Sheepdog finals for 3 years and currently serves as chairman of the Regional Health Network Board of Directors. He owns and operates a cattle ranch and campground near Sturgis. Ross has been married for 41 years, has 2 grown children with one Granddaughter.

Bill Phillips

Bill Phillips is a lifelong resident of the Sturgis area and graduated from Black Hills State University with a degree in Administration and Business. He has been part owner of The Real Estate Center of Sturgis since 2003. Bill has various companies involved in all areas of real estate, including land development and rental properties. Bill has also been a part owner of a big game hunting business in Western South Dakota since 2004. He has served over 21 years with the South Dakota Air National Guard, is a former board member of the Sturgis Chamber of Commerce, served on the Sturgis Sign Ordinance Committee, is the current Sturgis Area Director for the Mt. Rushmore Area Association of Realtors, is a Sturgis Little League Board Member and is a local Junior Achievement Instructor. Bill and his wife Stephanie, have 2 children and reside in Sturgis.

Karen Simmons

I grew up on a ranch 60 miles east of Sturgis. Attended High School in Sturgis and college at Black Hills State in Spearfish. I have been a CPA for 30 years and have had my own CPA firm for 28 years. I have been a part of the Sturgis community my entire life. I have served and continue to serve on several nonprofit boards. I am the Vice-Chairman of the Black Hills Area Community Foundation; Treasurer of the Ups of Downs family support group; Treasurer of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation; and Secretary/Treasurer of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Inc. I am a past president of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce.
